Brody's 3rd Birthday

I can't believe our little man is 3-years-old! Really?

For his special day we celebrated by going on the Heber Valley Railroad. Brody invited his best buddy Brielle to come with us, so we all went for a ride on the train. It was an hour and a half long...yes, a bit too long, but Brody was so content the whole time and absolutely loved everything about the train. Luckily, we could move around the train and didn't have to sit in one spot the whole time.

After our train ride we stopped to get some yummy ice cream and then came home to open presents. Lately, when I ask Brody to smile at the camera, he makes faces, so here's one of his many faces. It was fun to see him actually open his presents by himself this year and get excited to see what is inside the wrapping paper. He kept saying, "What's in here Mom, what's in here?"

And what's a birthday without cake? Gotta have some cake, chocolate that is. The cake, without fail every year, seems to find it's way everywhere, including all over Jake. It was a good day.

Happy Birthday Brody! Thanks for making us laugh every day and for being such a happy kid. You have grown up so much in the last year, I can't imagine what this next year will bring. We love you little buddy!
