Happenings

It's time for an update! The cousins got together at our house a while back and had lots of fun playing together. They went swimming, made a huge snowman in the snow, jumped in the bounce house, and loved hanging out. The boys always enjoy having people over, especially family.

I signed Brody up for a gymnastics class called Tumbling Tots through our city Rec center. He had so much fun swinging on the bars, walking on the balance beam, jumping on the mini tramp, and doing somersaults down the mat. He would ask every morning after he woke up if he could go to tumbling class. It was his favorite! At the end of the class, the teacher gave the each kid a gold medal with a certificate with their name on it. Go Brody!

Since we have had a lot of cold and stormy days lately, we have been making a lot of cookies. What is better than homemade cookies? Yum! Both Brody and Jake got in on the action this time. Each of them managed to eat their way through most of the dough, of course, but we made sure we had just enough room for the final product. Sometimes I wonder if it is worth the mess...YES!

We've had some fun movie nights lately. I tried to give the boys some popcorn with their movie and this is what happened. Jake started to dump it out and then Brody followed. Little stinkers. I wish I got a picture of the big mess, but I was too busy cleaning up. It was worth a try right?
