Brandon and I have been waiting for the Olympics to start and they finally did last night. The opening ceremony was amazing and I am excited to see all the different events. Swimming, track and field, gymnastics, volleyball...I love it all! I am prepared to get nothing done for the next little while. Go USA!

We've been watching Michael Phelps and are so amazed by his 10+ gold medals.
I showed Robbie one of my favorite things to watch - gymnastics! He had never seen a beam routine, floor routine, or the uneven bars. Those girls are pretty impressive - except the Chinese girls are like 10 years old, right!!?? I heard they were not sure about their official ages but one had just lost a tooth. Kind of tough to compete against!

Its been a long time. You have a perfect looking family. Love the video of the little guy crawling. You don't look any different from the last time i saw you like 10 yrs ago. hope all is well. don't forget to watch USA basketball. all you have to do is stay up 'til 5 am. who is the idiot who scheduled that one!? by for now.
