This was a day of getting wet, and loving every minute of it. We have had a TON of rainy days lately that have limited our outside activities, but on this day we just needed to get out, so after getting our boots and warm clothes on, we decided to do a little puddle stomping!
This was their favorite water spot in our backyard. They got soaked!
I don't know how I managed to get this shot, but here's Brody running across the puddle and tripping. He totally fell on his face with water going everywhere, but he got up smiling and kept on going.
Jake was having so much fun and didn't want to come inside to get warm. He made a big fuss until he got into the bathtub. Even with the wet and muddy cleanup, this made for some fun memories. Thank you, rain, for providing such fun entertainment. Until next time...

I read a book recently that included the statement "there is no such thing as bad weather, only inappropriate clothing." Good for you and your boys for enjoying the "bad" weather!
