Movies, mohawks, and Home Depot

Brody and Brandon recently had a boys night out at the movies. This was Brody's first movie at the big theater and he loved it. He saw Cars 2, ate some yummy popcorn, m&m's, and watched his favorite Lightning McQueen. At the beginning of the movie, Brody sat on the edge of his seat, taking everything in, and then by the end he asked why the movie was so long and if he could stand up. He couldn't believe how big the screen was and told me all about it when he got home. Overall, he was one happy boy and was excited to spend some quality time with Daddy.

This is Brody's new haircut for the summer. I wasn't a fan of it at first because I thought he looked like a poor sickly child (way too short!), but I think it's pretty cool now. Brody really loves it, and he loves it so much that he took this picture of himself with his mohawk.

We have had some projects over the summer that have required many trips to the wonderful Home Depot. I really would like to thank the person that made these car carts for kids. Even though they are a little big, they allow us to shop and keep kids entertained at the same time. Brilliant!
